How does Condoit support EV charger installs?

Condoit offers an out-of-the-box project form designed specifically for new EV charging station installations. Our software walks users through all the necessary site data collection points including utility connections, new equipment required, site photos of existing equipment, and multiple options for charging station locations.

How does Condoit support solar panel installs?

Condoit features an out-of-the-box project form designed for new solar panel installations. How does Condoit support light installations or lighting upgrades?

Condoit offers an out-of-the-box project form designed for new lighting installations – indoor and outdoor. Our software walks users through all the necessary site data collection points including utility connections, new equipment required, site photos of existing equipment, and a site plan that shows the aerial view of all lighting equipment that requires upgrading.

How does Condoit support routine maintenance checks for equipment?

Condoit provides an easy way for maintenance crews to snap photos of all existing equipment and create notes regarding inspections details, damage, updates required, and more. Photos and notes associated with each piece of equipment can be shared via export or using the digital single-line diagram (SLD). Condoit is the only solution on the market that allows users to access a SLD and drill-down into engineering drawings details to access equipment photos and notes.

What value does Condoit add to electrical contractors?

Condoit takes the current jobsite collection process (performed on paper today) and offers an easier way to collect data in a central place. Because Condoit is web and mobile-friendly, it also makes it easier for electrical contractors to share site photos, equipment specs, site narratives, and proposed designs in a single solution.

Can I export data from Condoit, or does everyone need a login?

Users can easily export all data from Condoit and share seamlessly from the app. This includes site photo zip files, equipment specs and notes, complete diagrams, and more.

What devices does Condoit work on?

Condoit’s mobile app works on both Apple and Android tablets and phones. Condoit is also available on your desktop from anywhere with a Wi-Fi connection.

Does Condoit provide engineering drawings?

Yes – users can create traditional SLD drawings from the mobile app and convert to a professional engineering drawing PDF.

Which size projects can Condoit’s SLD support?

Condoit currently supports projects with voltage between 120-600VAC. Condoit cannot support a connection at the substation level; power sources in Condoit’s SLDs begin at the Utility Connection level. Downstream, Condoit can diagram power to the major equipment level, but does not detail individual outlets.

Can I export Condoit’s SLD to my own engineering tools?

Condoit allows users to export professional SLD PDFs that can be imported into other tools such as AutoCad. The amount of information that can be imported will vary based on the system.

Can I connect Condoit to my PM, CRM, or ERP solution?

Yes – Condoit offers a standard integration for Salesforce that supports auto project creation, aligns project status, and auto populates key project fields. Condoit development team offers custom integrations for proprietary solutions.

Can Condoit produce a Bill-of-Materials?

Yes – Condoit features a Bill-of-Materials for SLDs in design mode. Because users can create multiple designs for an install projects, multiple Bill-of-Materials are also possible. The current Bill-of-Materials contains the equipment and conduit amounts required to support the diagrams.

How long has Condoit been in business?

Do you offer a NECA discount?

Does Condoit offer permission sets for different roles and user types?

Yes, Condoit offers a variety of roles including Admins, General Users, and Sub-Contractor user types. Each role comes with a standard permission set.

Can I see if my rep has completed a Site Walk in real-time?

Yes – as long as the rep’s device is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular signal, all users can see project data being updated in real-time.

Does Condoit work offline?

The Condoit mobile app is designed to function offline. During offline mode, all field notes, photos, and data is stored locally to the user’s device. Once the user’s device connects to a Wi-Fi or cellular service, all data is automatically uploaded to the cloud.

How do I know my data is safe and backed-up?

Condoit’s data is stored in a secure server with multiple fail-safes to ensure your data is always protected. We also provide an in-app status so that users understand what is synced and pending.

Can I collaborate with other people in my company?

Anyone that has a Condoit login can edit and view a shared project. If someone needs the data but does not have a login, users can easily export data into PDFs and zip files to share with others directly from their device.

What kind of support do I get with my subscription?

Condoit offers multiple ways to interact with our support team. Users can request a screen-share meeting with a live representative directly from the app, while in the field. Support is reachable via email, phone call, and Zoom meetings.

Where is Condoit located?

Condoit’s headquarters is in Birmingham, Alabama. However, we have employees and clients located in many states across the United States and Canada.

How often do you update features in Condoit? Do I have to upgrade to receive these?

Condoit provides customers at every subscription level with monthly product enhancements. These are rolled out at no additional cost to customers. Customers can learn about these new features via our marketing and training newsletters.

Do I have to be an electrician to use Condoit?

No. While we are the electricians’ app, different roles find value in our digital site walk forms, reports, and SLDs. Our users vary from sales reps to executives to engineers to estimators, and even apprentices. Visit Condoit’s solutions to learn more.

Do electrical contractors charge their clients for a site walk?
